REQUIREMENTS:

- ZolikaPatch

In this example we will install the "FXT Cavalcade", replacing the original FXT.
If you want to add any of these cars instead of replacing existing ones, follow the guide starting from Step 7.
This can be applied to every other car.

1. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\carcols.dat
1.1	Find fxt line. This particular line is under the "car3" header. Make sure to always use the header specified in my text file (carcols lines.txt)!
1.2	Delete the whole fxt line, paste the one provided by me (Data Files\carcols lines.txt)

2. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\handling.dat
2.1	Find fxt line
2.2	Delete the whole fxt line, paste the one provided by me (Data Files\handling lines.txt)

3. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\vehicles.ide
3.1	Find fxt line.
3.2	Delete the whole fxt line, paste the one provided by me (Data Files\vehicles lines.txt)

4. 	As of Version 1.2, step 4 is only required for the FXT Cavalcade. Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\cargrp.dat
4.1	Scroll down to the near bottom, find line "# POPCYCLE_GROUP_GANG_PUERTO_RICAN"
4.2	Delete the whole line, paste the one provided by me (Data Files\cargrp lines.txt)

5.	Navigate to GTAIV\pc\models\cdimages\ and open vehicles.img using OpenIV
5.1	Replace fxt.wft & fxt.wtd with the ones provided by me (vehicles.img\FXT Cavalcade\fxt.wft & fxt.wtd)

6.	Check below if said car has any special requirements.

That's it! The instructions below are only for adding vehicles instead of replacing them.

In this example we will be adding "Schafter3". This can be applied to every other car.
Note that adding cars this way WILL corrupt your savegame!

7. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\carcols.dat
7.1	Add schafter3 line from "Data Files\carcols lines.txt" 
7.2	This particular line is under the "car3" header. Make sure to always use the header specified in my text file (carcols lines.txt)!

8. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\handling.dat
8.1	Add schafter3 line from "Data Files\handling lines.txt"

9. 	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\vehicles.ide
9.1	Add schafter3 line from "Data Files\vehicles lines.txt"

10.	Navigate to GTAIV\pc\models\cdimages\ and open vehicles.img using OpenIV
10.1	Add schafter3.wft & schafter3.wtd with the ones provided by me (vehicles.img\2nd Gen. Schafter\schafter3.wft & schafter3.wtd)

11.	Navigate to GTAIV\common\data\cargrp.dat
11.1	Add the car to a specific spawnpool. You can add it to multiple spawnpools, you can choose whatever spawnpool you want. Make sure to not forget a comma after the spawnname!
	Example: Adding it to # POPCYCLE_GROUP_JERSEY and # POPCYCLE_GROUP_HARLEM would make it spawn in Alderney & Northern Algonquin regions.

12. 	Alternatively, you can also add the car to vehoff.csv to improve cinematic camera.

13.	Check below if said car has any special requirements.

You can replace or add any of the cars to your hearts content, they are all standalone.
